You mean something like that?

...

Why do we keep wasting time on this topic? There isn't going to be a graphical client for the iPhone, as I don't realistically see anyone writing it. It's just stupid that you guys keep making fake screenshots of this stuff to make people think it's gonna happen.

Are you really gonna rewrite the entire game in Objective-C and OpenGL ES?

BZAdmin would be better suited.

The frame rate and network lag will fail massively.

Post when the client is done, bug free, and on the AppStore.

Oh, and btw Blast, the images are real. That is a real app running on iphone simulator. Of course, it doesn't have any functionality, but it IS a real app, no matter what it does and doesn't do.

No, you have a screenshot stuck in an app with a few buttons on top of it. You might as well have photoshop'ed it, as it would be just as useful. I highly doubt you'll get a full 3D graphical client working at all, so you can't really say it's coming to the app store soon...

I hate to say it, but I sort of agree with blast.

Work on a BZAdmin client first, then MAYBE attempt to write an actual client.

Please take your discussions of possible ports and forks of bzflag to other platforms to another place. You are obviously still in the development and planing stages of your project. Our Releases and Versions forum is not the place for you to discuss this type of development.
