Choppy sound problem

I finally got the system running right and decided it was BZ time. Installed, few errors, fixed all of them and now the game runs. But now I have a small problem with choppy sound. It kind of cuts out every few milliseconds constantly. E.g.: Explosion being the sound, imagine the word itself as the ...

Idea for a plugin to stop god mode cheaters...

its not very well thought out (its 430am and i havent slept in 2 or 3 days now) code a plugin for a bot (say hepcat on pillbox or adelusion on, well, adelusion.) it attempts to shoot a player and counts rounds fired as well as known direct hits (where the positions match perfectly) and then adjusts ...

best choice would be a VPS/VDS as opposed to a DS. There's a very very verrry slim chance any host would let you bg a process on their servers. You would need a shell for that. Shell hosts probably wouldnt allow you to run a game server and they rarely give more then 30GB a month in BW. DS is way to...

Server Connection issues (well, one server)

I can connect to every server I see, but I cannot connect to Longhairs server for the HTF League. Any time I attempt, I see the router and modem send and recieve a few packets but it always ends with Error Connecting to Server. I do have a router that has a built in firewall, of course, but right ou...

Question to Server Owners and people who would like to run 1

Well, while looking about for a nice hosting deal, I spotted one for $189 a month with an unmetered 10mbps port. My question to the owners and want-to-be owners, would you be willing to pay say $29 or $39 a month to run a 10-14 person server... If I get 2 or 3 people who would like to do it, I may b...
