Re: Licensing
So your changes to someone else's unreleased maps are illegal? What is legal/acceptable on the forums, diff file?

Re: Voting
You can use name completion by pressing the F2 key (assuming you don't have it mapped to another function). So, you can type "/poll ban q03" and hit F2, and it will complete the name out automatically, and even include quotes if they have spaces in their name. It's not perfect, but it can...

Then it's not really a release. Add your choice of licence too.
So it's just WG, OO and L? Doesn't sound good.

SR v SR doesn't kill you both, do you mean you both die in 3 or with WG?
Rev it would be too much of a literally upper hand map, the higher person wins. Unless ledges sudennly disappeared, I don't know what's happening with interacting physics.

Re: Team controled auto guns.
Not at all, I just mean the only idea like this isn't good, so I'd expect a good result to be quite different, probably involving coding.

Re: Team controled auto guns.
Nope, the current turret defence game up at the moment proves it a bad idea. It is either far too easy to one side and mean to the other, or requires out of the box thought and coding.
Relying on tanks? It's a tank game.

Re: Fun with Genocide
Another geno plugin idea is to limit its effectiveness to three times an hour, after that only the person hit dies. This stops people genoing too much, but doesn't affect people learning, it's enough motivation for someone reasonably good to keep going. Three is just my suggestion based on my skill,...

Re: Multiple Flag Holding
The way it's doable in 3, done in a plugin already, is dividing them up by shot type and tank affect I believe (probably better worded), like ST, A, CL, BL are the same, G, L, Gm are the same so the combinations are like ST+Gm, St+G, B+L.

Works perfectly, I was in a server with bots within 30 seconds. I'd still hope/expect the Launch game bit to take me straight to the server.

Re: BZFriends - A "'who's online' utility
It was a different kind of error, like a deleted file from the project. The .sh file isn't written correctly, "/bzfriends.sh: /bin/bash^M: bad interpreter: No such file or directory" though it works without that line. Works fine, in mono, so it's a mono dock icon and menu options. I added ...

Re: QT BZFS 3 Launcher
Spelling mistakes, unerganomic, varying spacing. Good idea, I think you've included everything, but make it a bit smarter, like disable some options till others are selected, like antis to bad flags. Doesn't seem to work, I selected the to run the game, which did, but it didn't default to localhost ...

DMG is the tar like package/image Mac uses, it includes checksum and so on.
Yeah.. doesn't work in Opera like it did last year.
Freezes, even off the image. Then it opens in Mono. Unless you can get it to work in the first window, nothing would be much better than a simple .sh file.

Wiki.
http://my.bzflag.org/w/Bots
It says command line option, but there's nothing on that page about it, nor server variables.

Other than Bonjour (Apple made, but I believe it's bundled with all iTunes for windows), the rest don't seem to work well.
SSDP is in XP, and SLP in printers, Apple and linux. Bonjour is the platform-widest.
