It's a tank. The question is more appropriately: "How many gallons to a mile does it get?"

Yay for a Navy Blue reprint (someday)!!

Unfortunately, I'll have to wait for the reprints to order a hoodie. I wanted one, but it's going to be some time before I can afford it (even if I'm not actually being charged until the print run takes place).

Same as Sky King for me, pretty much. When I first started playing BZ, my machine couldn't handle lighting without dropping to single-digit frame rates. After I got a better machine, I first started without lighting and everything looked the same. Then I started activating lighting and discovered th...

Wireless Internet connections are notoriously laggy. Their high b...

The Frog raintype is used on several maps - most notable, of course, being "Rain 'n' Frogs" (one of my first and favorite maps).

With everything maxed out (except anisotropic), I usually run at about 45 - 55 fps on average for most maps. Not too bad since I'm using an older, entry-level ATI card (Radeon 9250). As for minimum playability, I can usually do just fine at as low as 17 or 18 fps. Below that, things are just untrack...

Leaving Gamma Alone

My graphics card does gamma adjustment automatically, and I'd prefer to use it's feature, which so far leaves me having to manually comment out the gamma setting in config.cfg after each time I finish playing. Is there any way to keep BZFlag from uncommenting that line when it closes down?

Indeed. There are almost no cases where campers can get into positions where they are totally impregnable . If there are such spots, it's a map/configuration flaw. Methods of taking campers out aren't always obvious, but with a little bit of thought (and often teamwork), the solutions come to you. ...

I'd say you and I are tied on that, Grace. :P

Seriously, though, I'm usually best at GM - both static and roaming. Can even fend off Stealths with it pretty well. I'm building up my skills with Laser, but I still tend to hit myself too often with it.

That's pretty kewl, Saturos. If you can get the dual-screen compatibility going, it'd be a good place to put radar, chat, and tank statistics so that you only have to worry about active HUD in the top screen.

In regards to MAPS, my favorites are Rain'n'Frogs, Olympic Driving 101, and most of Louman's stuff (especially Island Hopping rabbit hunt and Mystic Valley). I like Badgerking's map, but it's really the other players there that makes me go back there more often than any other map. I also like Spiral...
