I really don't think there needs to be any new player tutorial system. If they don't want to take the little bit of time to learn how to play, then I don't think we really want them around playing. The best way to spread the word is to tell your friends. Show them the game, let them watch you play, ...

Thanks devs. This looks to be a great game, can't wait until its fully stable. Unfortunately, I'd like to see 2.2 or even just a 2.1 beta build thats pretty stable, but I guess this will have to do.

There was, for awhile, a map by 1badplayer hosted on the Citrus Network with a SW radius really big, and it expanded slowly.

Find a server running the map, then under options, theres something like a 'world options', maybe its just 'Save World', but find "Save World" and select that. name the file, and it saves to a folder in your "My BZFlag Files" folder.

Jeff, so if I'm getting that right, the hugely jumpy tanks we get occasionally now will be gone, but sometimes if we shoot the tank image we see, it won't be a kill?

You know..I really think this map would be very nice to play without a radar. Or at least one with a small limit, maybe 2/3 to 1/4 of the size of the default radar.
