I'm glad it's had such a positive influence... I must thank the rest of MDG for helping with with the questions, and, of course, LouMan for being so incredibly kind to answer them even though he's very busy with real life (tm) at the moment. I'll be interviewing more folks soon, starting with some o...

Why the hell would you not rather just KILL THE ENEMY ?!?! ERROR! The idea is that you can keep enemies at bay so you can maneuver around without a tank chasing you. I.E.: There's a large box with a small exit. You can plaster it with bullets on a non-ricochet server, and trap them. And why the hel...

An Interview with LouMan!
LouMan is one of the greatest mappers for bzflag and, as a member of MDG, was kind enough to answer my questions about his experience in mapping, and bzflag in general.

I find it hard to believe that Trepan would ever have a problem with anybody using his images, as long as the use was BZFlag. Sure, I agree, but we can't read exactly what Trepan's mind is, and saying it's alright when we haven't heard anything officially from him could be in err. He didn't say it ...

Firstly, please don't triple post. Secondly, pretty much all the lines in your options block should probably go in a conf file. Some of them have to. Thirdly, spin works great and will do what you want it to - If you use it right. spin angle x y z For example, this line will spin an object 45 degree...

You are confusing bzfs and bzflag config files. They are totally different. Start a totally fresh, empty new plain text file and add these lines to it: -world C:\Documents and Settings\Joe\Face_The_Triad.bzw -publicaddr 68.205.202.237:5154 +r -j This has NONE of the client options, which you do NOT ...

Yea, I agree. Private messages should stay private . They never were. This is a good idea though. I've come across many incidents where someone has reported someone cussing via Team Speak. This will help remove those players as it happens  Nice Const. What does this have to do with teamspe...
