are you using flipz for turning the pyramid upside down, or negating x/z........also, you can drive on the bottom of flipz'd pyramids no problem, so the fact that you fell through is odd. what version of bzedit are you using? the beta 1.6.3 of bzedit converts(in the background) all the negation x/z ...

wow....its a little choppy, but at least the time it takes to go exploring is worth it :)


(i bumped up all the world weapons delays/inits so that the server didnt get bogged down....its better now, but i think i hacked the time spacing, sry)

errr, no i mean, when I open the map in bzedit, there are only a couple blocks, nothing else...........guess I have to open up bzfs to double check.

grrrr, i what a pain. This is not supposed to occur when building the release version, but it looks like it is. nope, he is working on something new that will be more portable between OS'es. So if you would like something in the tool, now is good time to ask.

I am just working on trying to keep the existing tool up2date till his tool comes out.......

This is a beta release of BZEdit, I call it a beta because it does not handle the world size properly. there are a couple bugs relating to drivethrough/passable blocks, it also seems to exist on maps that are playing as FFA, but the map input had ctf bases in them originally.


so, what map are you driving around when you see this problem?

Well, I didn't vote because our fps is generally WELL under 49 fps...It's generally around 18-24. ...there is a selection for under 49 fps.....so vote :) I am using this to get a general feel for what everybody sees for fps, once you are under 49fps, there is not much in map design i can do to help.

err.....i didnt do it, i just posted the link so people could get old map files........i can take no credit for pybzflag and its map generator......i didnt even do the website.....its all about sharing information. with a map contest coming up, i thought it would be nice to have some historical maps...
