The wall and floor textures need to be tiled quite a few times to look effective, I think. I add textures by using meshes, and setting texcoords to make it fit appropriately (for instance, on a 25x25 floor, I'd put tilefloor in 5 times on each side). I guess the point would be that you don't have to download anything to run the game.
