The Black Diamond
You seem to have links for those teleporters on the map, but they seem to be unfinished/not made. (They all lead to the same place, from the same place.)

It's called the shield flag. Learn it. Love it.
Other "shield flags" are usually if not always rejected.

Re: I MADE MY FIRST MAP!
Not bad for a first map, but here's some tips: Most CTF maps are symmetrical, here you went with an asymmetrical layout-generally it's hard to pull off a good asymmetrical 2-team CTF map. It's too open, once you get past the middle line, it's almost all open-usually bad. Try looking at popular maps,...

on an unrotated teleporter, X+, or "east" is the "front" of the teleporter, and X-, or "west" is the "back" of the teleporter. The teleporter rotates counter clock-wise, so for a teleporter rotated 90 degrees, the "front" will be pointing to Y+, or &...

Re: Teams in Custom CFT maps
BZFS can be used as a local, temporary server for testing. Only you will be able to get on it. to run it, just simply enter this in the terminal:
/path/to/bzfs.app -world /path/to/your/map.bzw
Then join 127.0.0.1:5154 (localhost) in bzflag.

Re: Teams in Custom CFT maps
-mp is the option you are looking for. It is used like this: -mp rogue, red, green, blue, purple, observers For your server you could use: -mp 0,10,10,0,0,10 -mp can also be used to set a max # of players over all (you can use both types to limit the max players, but still have teams) -mp 0,10,10,0,0,10 ...

When you join you just say, "I'm 13+" or "I'm not," ie: no DOB is recorded.
Ratfink
You can ask JeffM or Blast, or some other forum admin to help you with this.

This has been suggested and shot down, you are not the first to think of it.
It's too powerful, and only fun for the player holding the flag, if even. No point in trying to convince anyone how great it is.

There is a problem with the box and pyramid objects when they are drivethrough and have a material/textures/colors. Use meshboxes and meshpyramids instead. Or heck, just use meshes.

I'd like to see this on a public test server, IMHO, that is the best way to test a map. If not public, at least have a few people join it.
It looks good so far, I always enjoy seeing new maps from you, just want to see more becoming popular.

I got my sister into playing, she plays sometimes as "maybe." My friend sometimes (sometimes) plays as "SpyGT." I also know this guy who goes by the callsign "Ausom."
If I add myself into the equation I know 3 BZFlaggers. (is it one or two g's?)

You need to log into the server for it to check whether you are banned or not. Checking if you are banned or not at every server will put more load on all of the servers. Just try not to get banned.
Of course, anyone can correct me if I am wrong.

Re: Callsign Found. Which is better?
You should chose your own callsign, as it defines who you are. Whatever you like, you go with.
If you really need someone to chose though, I personally prefer Fish Pigeon to both those others.

It's -conf, not -config.
The whole list of options is the list of valid options. If "-whatever" is listed as invalid, check the list for the "correct" one.
if it give you the acceleration limit thing, you can ignore that. (no need for -a 50 38)
