One thing that makes BZFlag attractive is the fact that it is open-source.
That's why I came over and started playing.
if it would be a closed-source program, that could turn away a lot of people who have been here.

The simple graphic design, and the depth in gameplay. This is what is enjoyable. Not the modern complex games of today (BZFlag does not count). Allow observers to watch matches on their phones. Depending on interest other features could be added. such as a version in which users could actually play BZFlag on their phone. or it could turn into an administrators tool for server configuration, banning cheats etc.. or simply to add BZFlag theme...

hi I think I may have found a little issue that allows camping without a flag. when pressing the pause button it takes 5 seconds to pause, but un-pause is instant. which in CTF when tanks spawn at their own base, after flag capture. which technically allows someone to remain paused at opponents base...
