Yeah! Yesterday two of the [phagozytose]-members (SAMY-{100%} and me) played for six hours on the bzflag0.gamesunited.de:5154 server.
Here is the result:

Saturos: As for traffic, a bit. 2000-3000 visitors per month in 2003, easily making up for 500-1000MB of data transfer in that time frame. Did I get it right that the login-name you have in that board will also become your callsign in the game? If right, I think you should allow special-letters. For example my neighbor uses "SAMY-{100%} as gaming-nick. If he cant use "-", "{", "}" and "%" hi...

I cant find similarities... you drive with tanks in both games but thats all.

I use SuSE but you dont have to build one for me. The only thing I am interested in is that I can play bzflag 1.12 when its finished.
No need to check out beta-versions for me.

btw: Why arent there Linux-Builds for the betas?

Anyway there will be a linux port of 1.12 in the end? I dont really care about betas but I want a final-built for linux.

Maybe you heard about the Nintendo DS. bzflag would be perfect for this system. It has two screens (one for radar, one for gameplay), graphic-power like the Nintendo64 (should be enough) and built in wireless-gaming-ability.
It would be wonderful to see bzflag ported to this system. *dreaming*
