I've had this happen to me a couple of times on mofo. And were you correctly identified at the time? Were you using a nick that may have belong to someone else? That isn't it, from what I have been hearing these are registered players logged in with the "+" sign by the name. Thats my case...

I was Correctly identified. It happened twice in a row. even after changing my password the first time it happened. Was quite weird. Talked about it in #bzflag, and figured the only explanation was - freak of nature.

Hasn't happened since then.

1.10.8? That's prehistoric. I'm just fine with all the servers we have on 2.0.8. Thank you.
1.10.8 is hardly prehistoric. get back to 1.7 then you're reaching bzflag prehistoric

But it seems a mess. Abstract Bz art? But then again, at this hour in the morning, without my coffee - everything seems a mess.

Jh^ I wonder if its your wide screen resolution. Have you tried using different resolutions? 8ms response time, is not too slow. Its not the response time. I'm suspecting wide screen. Its no OS specific. You and thono use linux varients, lethalmix uses Windows XP. I've used xp and win2k, no problems...

hrm.

I don't see any blurring on my 17" 5ms, and 22ms monitors. I've tested a ATI 800xt and Nvidia 7800 GTX. Win2k and WinXP 64.

Now my 17" LCD's are SXGA 1280 x 1024 resolution.

What OS choice are you running?

And second thought: is BZ not optimized for "wide screen"? or is that relegated to driver/card control?

if its windows... This isn't a common problem. 2.0.8 seems to just randomly crash indeed. And for those of you with the cliche and laconic 'wittisim' of "get a real OS" its not an OS related issue. Bzflag never did this for me before 2.0.6/4 iirc. and I've used all the mainstream OSes, and...

If you want a continuous spray of bullets, may I recommend setting you fire shot to ` Yes, ` Its the perfect location too. You've got your radar size buttons, (1, 2, 3) to the right and your jump button right underneath. Once as you hold the button, it fires one instantly and spray the rest of your...
