Meacan had the original idea to use Janitor that way. Its even in his Janitor documentation as an example of how to write Janitor scripts. A guy was on #bzflag who asked if it was possible to change skycolor after capturing. And as I was working on Janitors features to change vars according to even...

Re: Silvercat and Rules that should be enforced by the serve
I have never seen any admins cheat on silvercat. It is not cheating to prevent a player to capture if its uneven teams. Basically you say, some admins are so biased that it affects how the game is played. Then the admins is the problem, not how to deal with players not dropping the flag. Yes, the pl...

Changes
Some changes: - Spaces and other "funny" characters are handled. So everyone should be able to get an email now (unless two callsigns "converts" to the same email) - Added "delete", so you can remove the email again - Added clear-text userlist (to give an easy way of pa...

QuickTim Is 3 columns good enough? :) Im not too happy about doing the space-to-something else replacement, because it can be abused to hijack other accounts. I need to figure out how to avoid this. This is the only reason why I just dont a simple replace. A Meteorite Are you sure? My mailserver sa...

A Meteorite Yep, I've changed it just now me1 The registration of your bzflag.be email isnt finished. You should have gotten a confirmation email by the system. Inside it there is a link you need to click (check you spam-folder if you cant find it). Onceyou've finished the process, you can find you...

it is a way to give people an email adress without having to expose my true identity? Exactly. And to make it easier to remember peoples email (if you sign up, even I could remember what email you would get :) ). It is not integrated with any other bz-sites at all (except that it verifies that you ...

A Meteorite I dont know how to solve it. One way is to replace spaces with - or _, but that would create another problem: If A Meteorite was to become A_Meteorite but only at my site, what should then happen if someone registers the A_Meteorite here at bzbb. As far as I know, spaces is accepted in ...

Please. Even if all the stuff I mentioned won't work, I'm liking that 4-team CTF skycolor thing in your example config. Here http://dennis.moellegaard.dk/projects/BZFlag/Janitor_0.7.tar.gz . Unpack it to your plugins directory and see if it compiles. It got debug enabled, . Try to see if it is usef...

.. What would you use it for? Janitor was a plugin i was working on that allows you to invoke an arbitrary executable redirecting output to the user. There is a bunch of settings that allows you to set restrictions on when to execute (to avoid abuse). It didnt redirect stuff from the user to the plu...

Can I ask you for your opinion about this stats? Are they usefull or not? I'm asking to decide if I have to try to ask maintainers to add that event or if I have to do it myself for my own purposes only. Well its a good idea :) Or I hope it is. As I too, have been busy working on a similar plugin, ...

Im not good at keeping promises... but
I do! After we got plugins, I've begun experimenting how to implement a ladder using them. I just got so many options, its hard to determine what to keep. (..but that is offtopic here)Death Barrel wrote:what would be really cool is more player stats sorta like dmps old ladder if some of you remember.

I think i've stated my suggestion, even tho people dosnt like it. After talking with birdie i think i know why. Its bascially, what do you expect from CTF. As I see it, we got a two ways of playing games. A Team Matters Only (TMA) and a I matter only (IMO) . Both are extrems, and I see RabbitStyle a...

You guys are wierd :-) I understand the problem with people getting to concerned about their own player score compared to the teamscore. But how is increasing the (some) player score for a team effort going to help? The problem is basically, that its not easy to determine if a player is helping the ...
