Compiling with windows Dev C++

I wanted to get 2.1.x bad right, so i decided to go to the effort of getting a cvs fetcher, and a compiler, and getting the libs, i did all that, but behold i got these linker errors just as it was compiling bzflag.exe ../Dev-C++/playing.o(.text+0x20998):playing.cxx: undefined reference to `AutoHunt...

^^Jeff is on the ball^^ Can you resize the screenshots? They are a bit...big. :P -Tanner It doesn't matter that they're big, they're only JPGs, plus better detail when it's at 1600x1200 ;) As said in the posted linked article, if you're a hardcore modifier and you want to adjust the intensity of the...

HDRish (even trepan will be in awe :D )

Ok, i was poking around and found this HDRish Smartshader from this thread: http://www.beyond3d.com/forum/showthread.php?t=16282 , It produces the bloom effect, and It only works with ATI Radeon cards, 9500 and above. without HDRish with HDRish Now, i originally had to adjust the values lower to loo...

My video card is a Radeon 9800 Pro and it won't let me put on AF either, even though it has options to force it on in the ATI Control panel(up to 16x :D ). Forcing it on seems to work with little peformance or no performance drain at all, and it looks good. Perhaps you'd consider the making AF optio...

it's a server command, you were most likely the victim of an anti-camping trick. what should have happend is, when the blue flag was captured, it triggered a server world weapon to destroy any tanks there before the blues spawned. quite clever.

are you left handed? i'd find it a bit difficult to shoot with my middle finger

anyway i just use the defaults; tab to jump, 12345 to adjust radar and mouse to shoot, look and lock on.

Resolution change doesn't resize window

Title says it all. I am using a RADEON 9800 Pro graphics card, and when i open bzflag with a larger resolution than the desktop, this will happen: http://img89.imageshack.us/img89/9756/incorrectresizing0mr.jpg usually i just change the video format to something else than back and it resizes. any way...

No i haven't fixed the problem yet, what do you mean by "KDE" Control center? Where do you access it?

I'm on Windows XP by the way so maybe it doesn't have that.

oh and solving it on radar wont be a problem, i can turn them into meshboxes making them dim on radar.

Death Strike(DS): Whenever a tank kills you, it kills itself and if you kill a tank, you die too. Suicide(SU): If you get destroyed it releases a large shockwave which is greater than normal SW(might be bad if you're near teammates though) Edit: sorry i just saw someone posted something like that be...

on top of that, if you kill someone while your holding flag you get destroyed too, just for it not to be overpowered, and the flag could be called suicide (SU)

Sound problem after updating display driver

Hi, I've recently updated my ATI Radeon 9800 display driver to version 6.14.10.6517 to fix a crashing problem in another game. Now when i play bzflag the sound is stuttering and cuts in and out constantly, and it's only for this game. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling bzflag and i've also tri...
