Well, world weapons can be set using info at http://www.bzflag.org/wiki/MapMaking , but as for the other thing, I don't know offhand.

A screeny above the map wouldn't look very good, methinks. All you'd see is the tops of the trees, and bits of the ground below. If you want, I'll do it, though.

Mobile objects?

I believe I've found a few mentions of movable objects in BZflag. However, I haven't seen any. Were they in old versions, and got taken out? Are they still out there somewhere, and no one has found reason to include them in levels? Or am I just misinterpereting? Example: http://my.bzflag.org/bb/view...

Forest v. 1.1!

Here's Forest, version 1! There are trees and stuff, for people to wander and battle amongst. In fact, that's all there is. But they're randomly placed, and I rather like the flag settings. Some areas are quite densely packed with trees, but some sections are more open. SW is big with 1 shot, laser ...

A new version of BZflag would have to be made, of course. This was just an idea, with an example of how it could look and sound. So, as of yet, you DON'T use it. I had thought this was fairly apparent, but I suppose not.
