In these forums here we have a section called "prefabs and map objects". I think it would be nice to have a library inside BZWorkbench, where you can save objects, groups or setups you often need, so you can just drag&drop them in any mapfile you have currently opened. So you dont have...

Welcome jude, nice to have you here. :) I didnt have the time to read all of it yet, so maybe my question is already answered somewhere... will the editor be multiplatform? Seeing that you seem to work on Linux, I am glad it wont be Windows-only and that I'll be able to use it on my linuxbox. Still ...

Just thought that it would be interesting for the people who liked your image. Sorry if it offended you.

Yeah, nice one. Although I came looking for an april fool that morning you had me thinking one or two minutes if it might be true. After coming to the conclusion that it wasnt, I decided to join the joke to trick some of the newer ones (who dont know that you always do veery elaborated april fools)....

This is totally great news! The old BZFlag-concept got a bit boring after some time, so its good to hear we finally break with the old principles and rules. 2.0.8 is pretty much perfect when it comes to BZFlag and I can imagine it will co-exist with the new WZFlag (wow, I have to get used to that ne...

it takes 5 seconds to render a tank model.... :? Erm... rendering goes fast, thats right. But putting the scene together isnt done that quickly. Believe me, I've spent a lot more than five seconds on the rendering for the bzbb-title. It's about perspective, sizes, lights, environment, bla bla. If y...

Japan?

About the hill: There are just two possible solutions in my opinion: Either you make it a giant map with stairs (giant because you need to counter the weak jumping tanks) or you make it flat. Both are not ideal but making it flat is probably the best solution.

Ummm, are you sure that's supposed to be a pdf? PDF stands for "Portable Document Format", so of course it is supposed to be a PDF. Which other formats would you suggest? Anyways, it's just a random bit of code, any reason you wanted us to have it? Print it out, spread the word about BZFl...

Join a server, type "/saveworld -o file.obj", it saves you an obj-file which you can import in Wings3D using File - Import - Obj .

The default OSX mouse drivers are very strange... try a software like USB-Overdrive (Google!) and turn acceleration all the way down. It gave me a lot more accuracy. About turning and driving faster, I am pretty sure they dont. Your tank wont be able to drive faster if you get a faster or better mou...

sourceforge goes back to 1.7c... I dont know where to find an older version. If you manage to dig out something more ancient, let us know. I would like to try it, too.

One solution might be that you specify your league-teammates on your own. Like a line in your config: /group "ducati" player1, player2, player3 /group "GU" player4, player5, player1 By writing something like "/group 'GU'" ingame the list-server would check if it finds a...

BZFlag 2.1.11 Intel Macintosh Build

Hey guys! I've just built 2.1.11 from CVS on a MacBook Pro (obviously Intel) under 10.4.7. I've never done that before and I have no idea if it works for you or not - on my mac it seems to be fine so I decided to share it. Feel free to test it out! http://www.saturos.de/BZFlag-cvs.dmg Regards, Satu ...
