While on the subject of Trop's maps..I hopped on to Bluebox earlier, only to find an enormously slow tankspeed upon initial spawn at the base. I assume this was intended, as as soon as I reach the teleporter on either side, tankspeed is returned to above normal. Was that a server mod or a map/confi...

Hate to disappoint you, but that's not a bug. I have the SW configured so it fires a slow pulse, random in size. 90% of the time its a dud or takes less than 1/4 of the map, but the other 10% it grows to its full size, 1000 units. Obviously there's going to be a huge delay for a SW to grow to that s...

I never saw this thread, though I did try this game style once, and it was very fun. As for Spazzy's idea of having a base area, why don't we have a start and a finish area, and the last NonZombie player to get to the base safely becomes a Zombie. and then the process repeats, but going the opposit...

Actually gBZAdmin is a complete GTK2 app I wrote. It is not a frontend. It's written in C not C++. I wrote it as an exercise in learning BZFlag's code. It's not synced with the BZFlag source. I'm working on 2.1.x now. I should port it to C++ and use the BZFlag source. Re-inventing the wheel is what...

Greetings. I am trying this plugin on my servers. For the most part it is working wonderfully, however on two of my servers it is crashing/quitting. I'd give an error message, or a detailed explaination of what's happening -dddd, however any time I actually try to observe the crash it never occurs (...

Introducing The Citrus Network
After a long hiatus, I'm running servers again. I will not say for how long, we'll see based on popularity. Because I'm kicking things off with seven maps (one was up last night), I guess I can't call everything Tropican's Place anymore. And Tropican's Places just doesn't have a nice ring to it. So ...

I've heard with the release they're gonna use some crappy tool which emulates it into Direct3D, which beyond doubt will make it slower, delibarately making direct3D look better. No, this was the plan a long time ago. Hardware manufactuerers got really annoyed, as did game developers. Microsoft cave...

Re: Clarification
Before I make my server public... would it be classed as cheating? My arguments that it is not, is that its applicable to all players How could it be cheating if it's your server? Generally you can allow anything on your own server as long as it doesn't do something bad to the listserver, offend pe...

Let me get this straight. Intalling the plug-in will me to obtain any flag allowed at a certain map just by typing in this command? :? If so, is that ethical? No, plug-ins are serverside. The server owner would be the one loading the plugin, not you. Meaning in order for you to use this feature the...

I'd assume based on your callsign you'd use Windows Media Player. :) I have not tried the new version (I use foobar not iTunes), but it sounds like a problem with Quicktime's sound output. Maybe a setting got tripped when everything was updated? Try seeing what sound output is selected in the contro...

Well, wouldn't the two rabbits fight each other? Rabbits don't fight, they make more rabbits, basic biology, at least I thought so.... Yes...look up L4m3r and I's Zombie gamemode, it follows that basic fact about rabbits. Right now its implemented with pzed tanks, but we will be reimplementing with...
