The secret way to lazers is there as well. I've dropped them to 800x600 and compressed them as JPG's. If they are too bad quality - I can make them better. I cahllenge you, AlliedArmor! Ok, nm, this sucks. lol... http://1veedo.homelinux.com/misc/smquarry1.jpg http://1veedo.homelinux.com/misc/...

For some reason I dont think it's displaying grass. It's the standard std_ground texture. Look at the snapshots; this is what it's supposed to look like: http://1veedo.homelinux.com/misc/quarry1.bmp http://1veedo.homelinux.com/misc/quarry2.bmp http://1veedo.homelinux.com/misc/quarry4.bmp http://1vee...

A .map file is used for something else on servers. It's telling you that there's a syntax error. I never thought of that before , I'll just rename it as bzw.
No clue what's up wit the immage files.

The Quarry
This map isn't 100% complete. I have a couple ideas in mind, some bugs, and something simi-big to add. (Plus I have that annoying triangle that I need to locate; it's supposed to be 30 lower!) It's a rather simple design, plateaus, a valley / entrance to the mine. That's actually all it was until I ...

Why does everybody always want to be admin? Check out the map at my server, 1veedo.homelinux.com:5154. It's called Aerial Combat, by Nader (Wegster). Latter today I'm probably going to be putting up another map that I'm working on, and I cant have two servers. Oh, you'd have to make nader an admin :...

error: could not find bzflag configuration file
Ok, I'm going to sound really stupid for this. /files/bzfs/conf: error: could not find bzflag configuration file The file exists and it's the correct user. It was working for a while, actually. I added one line: -helpmsg /files/bzfs/charter charter, and it started doing this. Now if I take it out, n...

What video card are you using? You'll need a decent 3D card, not some built-into-the-motherboard cruddy video that shares system memory. My old emachiens used a build in video card using shared memory. Since you're using an AMD 64-bit CPU, and the total amount you could spend is $336, I assume you'...

BZFlag on an athlon running Linux
My old computer's dead. Motherboard and CPU both. So I just built a brand new system becasue I didn't want a nother crapy emachines :lol-old: The deal w/ my dad was "keep it under 336; the price of a current on-sale emachines after rebate. I would have went faster, but this all I got (except fo...

That would be a good adition. I was thinking about doing that w/ the bzlist file so server statistics could be found at my site. I havn't gotten around to doing it though; specifically I cant even think of a way to hit the server over a period of time w/o actually loading it over and over again :lol...
