here is something new, while playing with the settings on windows i managed to duplicate the fault. (freezing, but with mouse movement) i am pretty sure i got it localised to the 'anisotropic filtering' option. if i enable it i get trouble. well now i am angry, i just tried to uninstall g1, it left so much exceptional behind you would not believe it! if you put an installer on something make sure it will uninstall EVERYTHING afterwards, that includes the dodgy looking cach filez and the player-config file. otherwise just give us the go...
