To make a GU config is very easy.. You must only know the flags. I think: 2x CL ; 2x V ; 2x MQ ; 1x QT But with "QT" im not very sure. Another wise is to ask brad, he can give you his copy :D You forgot Thief... QT was once in but was removed. A config is much more than just flags though.

A few hints from a semi-veteran: - Go to opions -> gui settings and increase your radar-size! Dont try to play the game on the normal view, watch the radar 90% of the time. - In open field try to dodge the shots, dont jump to avoid them... try to remember when the opponent shot all his shots and has...

Maybe I am missing something, but ... why? BZFlag isnt one of those games which are flooded by 1337-feeling kiddies who cant have fun without comparing their skill to others. Fun over competition, you know?

Maybe the server requires that you are a member of a special bzbb group, like we do on our guleague match servers.

You see, a lot of "maybe"s here until you give us the adress:port. ;)

I have my keyboard mapped to tab as jump, click to fire, space/middle mouse button to fire, and right click to identify, amoung others. I don't know about Darwiinremote, but you can easially change the GlovePIE script to match your setup: Keyboard.(Tab|Space|Enter|Ctrl|etc...) = Wiimote.B I've alre...

Sorry for bothering you with bad English, but I was too lazy to do it in German and put subtitles in. :D

Have fun!

I just played BZFlag using a wiimote... since you cant hook up the sensorbar to your computer, all you get is the tilting functionality. It feels extremely clunky - its fun for a minute but you really dont want to play like that. If you are interested I can make a short video tomorrow and post it on...

A "great player" should be capable of pointing his browser to bzflag.org, selecting the download-page and reading the stable-section there. It gives you a link to an x86-build of 2.0.8.

There is no progress on BZAnywhere at all. Its not dead but delayed until I am not that occupied with work, studies and playing the game. ;)

Some day it will hit your cd-drive. Dont ask for an exact date. :)

Traditional GU had Quickturn, Stealth, Thief, Cloaking, Masquerade and HighSpeed. Later we decided to take out Stealth because it was too strong. When 2.0.0 came out Quickturn was accidently transformed into Agility which was again too strong and removed after some months. The current GU-style publi...

Interesting that you chose the two tank-colors which are NOT used in guleague. ;) The white parts around the tank are there because you extracted that image from a gif-animation. gif-format has no alpha-channel, so when it tries to anti-aliase the image's edges you get white pixels. A way to get rid...

Okay. So you arent actually drawing a rico-path but only a line that shows where you are aiming right now. Okay. But nevertheless I think that aiming and the radar are fine as they are, for beginners it might be a little difficult to get their shots straight but you get a feeling for it. In addition...

Well... this is considered as cheating by most of the popular servers, if not all.
Ricos are one of the crucial gameplay-sections you have to master, only with a lot of experience you can aim precisely over one or two walls. Dont simplify everything, Ricos are hard and that is good.
