Moving objects aren't terribly complex if they are implemented in a simple way... the tanks are a good example :P I don't think Tim Riker has anything against it (don't quote me on that) though it would be a lot of work for the developers. you cant turn the top part off but you can turn off the map and text bar with some keys i cant rememer which either q w e a s d f r i think.

dynamic mediums possible?

would it be possible to make different mediums like water or air different in density. i wa thinking that when you jump you go at a certain velocity upwards and same when you go downwards. supose you was to jump and then land in water, couldnt the tank fall slower than in air.

just a thought btw

heyo! i got a way of getting bzflag to work on two screens with different views, it uses the horizontal pan setting on my nvida card and the -view three setting on bzflag. see pic below

ok seems to be an issue of what anti-aliasing is. Anti ailiasing basically renders another layer on the same image where by it applies 50% transparent pixels around the vector objects edge on screen, so the end effect it looks smooth. what i dont know is the grades of antialiasing my g-force 6600 ca...

hows about a selectio nof vehicles such as a humvee or a larger tank that can fire 2 shots at the same time out of two canons aside of each other? normal desgin rules apply i.e. vehicles will explode from one hit and the turets dont move...
