Great to see you back Aribeth. I for one miss Sleepycows, but now we can play Giza and WHAMMO! World out at norang!!! I also have to agree with LouMan. Variety is the spice of life. If no one played the maps out at norang they wouldn't be there, but most maps get played EVERY single day, so someone ...

You can find the variables for all the ones related to laser by typing this in bz: set _laser* Yer but that dosent show what it does Yes, you are correct. But this link does http://www.bzflag.org/wiki/ServerVariables . Granted not everything is there and there is a disclaimer, but it should point y...

All of LouMan's maps are all hosted on 2 physical servers, with each map being hosted on a different port. And the reason why he has so many maps hosted is that they all get played very regularly. If no one played on them we would probably put something else up, but why stop a good thing when you've...

Huh.. your english is terrible. If you speak some other language, type your question in it. It can't be any worse than your english, and someone might be able to respond... Su inglés es horible. Si usted habla una cierta otra lengua, mecanografíe su pregunta en ella. No puede ser peor que su inglés,...

It is not difficult to start a server from the command line though deathnight . And the instructions are above. No one but you or others on you local network will be able to play as it will not be on the public list. And you get to use /SET :D . You most likely already have the server software on yo...

It would also help to have the question in you native language. So when you post put both the question in your language and in english. We have many people who speak multiple languages who read these posts and if your english translation isn't good enought, they can help out by restating your questi...

Remember - not everybody uses a config file for their server! Deathknight, that is your bzflag config file, not the bzfs one. A bzfs config is just a list of command-line options - you don't need it, you can just use them directly. Start bzfs like this: bzfs -password supersecret Then log into your...

I would concur with Jeff... and you ARE using dial-up so it could all be a timing issue with what you are saying about no names (??????). If it had been a hack attempt they wouldn't have just deleted your BZ stuff... if someone else deleted stuff they would have been indescriminate and just deleted ...

Have you tried any of my suggestions? I have heard no mention of how that went or what you found... The message you are getting has to do with the port. If the process can't start on the port specified it throws the error and won't start. You must change ports or figure out what is stopping bzfs fro...
