WOW its been 13 years since I played and designed maps I see Bzflag has moved on and may be out of my league especially maps wise. I still have my old map site here: http://www.cruzan.info/bzflag/bzflag.html I have no idea if old maps will work now but you are welcome to give it a try pre-2008 stuff...

I see in the other topic that materials were a requirement? I don't believe this should be so, because materials tend to bog down bz A LOT for me, and most certainly many others. Other than that, sounds good. :) that rule was specificlly for people who wanted thier maps to be considered 2.X style.....

trepan did this with a clock on a map download his map and see how he did it.... s/b something like weapon . . . rotation 1 degree delay 1 end weapon . . . rotation 2 delay 1 end you'l have to do it how ever smooth you want it...so 360 times for 360 degrees.... or break it into 60 peieces of 6 degre...

sid6.7: You're wrong, he owns the copyright to his map. It isn't as though he's sharing code derived from the bzflag source. If I draw a picture in GIMP, do the GIMP guys own it? No. hmmm it was my understanding that it would a derivitive thing not a full copyright. esp with open source stuff...cop...

1. you dont have FULL copyrights to bzflag items your sharing them with tim riker and the other guy who made bzflag....thier right to your map superceeds yours in fact... 2. when you posted your map copyrights are assumed and with the DATE system here it validates who did what first so your safe pos...
