Some games, people should have to earn that GM. :-p
One way to achieve this is to have it so that a player must spend a certain amount of time sitting on the flag to actually pick it up. Especially if it's your opponents team flag.

For trench warfare maps, where the trench is deep enough you have to jump to shoot advancing enemy tanks, a flag to make to a little taller, so you can just peak/shoot over the edge would be great.
The trade off being, you would then be too tall to shoot anything on ground level with you.

I play keyboard, and I can see that mouse players would have an advantage, but I don't think it would be much of one. I do think if it was a map setting, people would search out QT to get tight arcing shots to shoot around corners.

It would be a fun option to have it so if you turn while firing, it puts a spin on the shot causing it to curve. The faster the spin the more pronounced the curve.

My idea was there would be bumping and blocking in racing maps. And You could design maps with bottle necks to frustrate players, if you so desired. OR even the possibility of pushing people. A game where the object is to force you opponent in to the lava. Or if you're out of ammo, you can still pus...

Just a cautionary tale.
I upgrade to Karmic Koala and mouse button was flaky under bz, the graphics were jumpy, and the sound stopped working, and when I would quit bz, it would not release the screen.
Upgrading the nvidia driver to version 190 fixed everything but the sound.

An option to give the tanks substance and mass.
It seems kind of hokey to just drive through other tanks.
When doing the race courses, it would be fun to bump and grind tanks.
For combat maps, it would force people to think about their team members before they take up a sniping spot that keeps there team mates from entering or leaving an area.
