I understand but how do I tell the client to have bots?
(I've played on like the viper.pimpi.org clone and there are bots and every body sees it...)

I've also played on other servers and they had bots.
(there were bots and players...)

Hmmmm...... Ok, I just wanted some bots to keep my players happy while I'm gone... But, how do they be put on teams? or is that something bzfs does by itself? I just want three bots, one on each team (red, blue, rogue)... *edit* I want this in bzfs not bzflag... (bzfs doesn't reconize the -solo comm...

Uh, well, you have a -10 in there... I didn't even know you could use negative numbers.... You could try starting your client through command line and doing a simple -d -d -d -d (this might tell you what's happening) That's all I can think of, I would need to see the acual code to tell you if it's t...

Server Commands on v 2.0.0

I can't run the commands; /kill, or /say on my server.

I'me in LOCAL.ADMIN so I should be able to.
But it says, [SAY] command not known. (or whatever it says)

Are they in 2.0.0 or just 2.0.2???
(I'm running bzfs that came with the Mac os X 2.0.0 download)

Thanks,

Oh, I would like to mention that after I posted this I went back.

In about twenty minutes I was first place......

This is soooooooooo crazy......

I was second place a few minutes ago, then, like always, a teammate shot me and I was last place in five minutes.

Ok, you might think I'm whining but if you don't start crying by the time I'm through... Shoot yourself... I connected to my favorite server, viper.pimpi.org, as blue. (my normal color) I started off bad, I got to about -15, as second to last.... No problem, so I disconnected and reconnected when th...

I'm not sure if you lose points by map wepons (like my "forbidden zone" or a moat) But, you could make this SW bomb with a map weapon and make it fire about every three seconds, this would discourage campers, but any good shot can become a camper with an SW bomb... If you made it where the...

Memory issuse with SDL.

BZFlag uses SDL for cross-platform support.... In the new version of SDL the memory handling stuff changed.... This makes it where on low ram computers the pictures are scrambled. (on mac anyway) To fix the problem, once bzflag loads hit: Down, Enter, Down, Down, Enter, Up, Enter. Now the text shoul...

Why don't you just make it everybody on the team gets a point if the other teams flag is caputured. This would make people not tk, and the really good people would deffend the flag to keep the other teams points low. You could also make it an option to how many points the wins, and how many points t...

Nice!!!

The only thing I don't like is the server must have textures turned on to get out of bases, and you have to download textures for it.

The acual map is WICKED!!!

Ok, I was wrong... It is Jack's experimental link... http://www.python.org/packman/version-0.3/exp-darwin-7.0.0-Power_Macintosh.plist The only problem is it's commented out. So hit the "show hidden" check box to show wxpython at the bottom. (if that doesn't work then you have to ins...

First off, try -d -d -d -d when your run bzfs. (put's it in dubugger mode) Second off. Yes my code did work. Third off; you spelled 'shift' wrong in arc, you spelt a bad word . Huh? Ok, so you have a file in .txt and you want it .bzw My best bet is that you text editor is using the normal text \n (newline) character wrong, it's using 0D while you need it raw. 0D is the normal text newline for .txt, which if you open .bzw in .txt format you'll get all these square thingies ...

Try getting numarray from the package. (if you can). Yes, you need, wxpython, it should be in the second package link FOR PANTHER. (not Jack's experemintel package) wxpython should be at the bottom of the PackageManager list. If you can't find in the second package one then I'll "remember"...

Code: Select all

box
 position 0 0 0
 size 10 10 10
 drivethrough
end
I know it works, and so does some guy that joined... (it was weird I just used ./bzfs -world test.bzw...... how did he join :?:)
