Welcome dogman, I would echo the advice of whodaman as far as what servers to start on. Don't be surprised though by how bad it seems you are doing at first. Just get comfortable with moving and aiming and dodging. And whatever you do.....watch out for the tank named Menotume!!!!! He is to be feared!!

Hey Beenz, Sorry to hear about your negative experiences. I think some of the specialized servers that have very loyal crowds are probably the worst for this sort of thing.....but it still shouldnt happen. Have you tried sending private messages to some of the people who are doing well.....score wis...

Uh Oh sounds like TRB has been scheming up things!!! Look out! I think it sounds like a fun idea. I think random drawing of teams would be interesting. Depending on how many sign up though you might want to do 3 on 3 matches, that could help minimize effects of some of the better players getting dra...

DMP: I think I like your idea, it does seem to make sense, and I think your right in that it might create more activity from newer players. They should be more comfortable taking on a match they know they might lose, as the risk of losing a lot of points for their team is less. It's still a little f...

The Oldest BZ Name I remember
Hey SM, Your list got me racking my brains for old timers, which being an old timer myself is difficult to do at times. You forgot Kono!!! Although, I forget all the aliases he used toward the end there, so maybe one name on your list is his. He's the dude who told me that: "all the hours you p...

Wings
I agree with phyvo. I use it mostly as a break...for fun just to cruise around and check out the map. It seems weird to me to use it to fight with...unless going against another "winged" tank, or camper of course.

Kelly's Heroes
Hey Gerbil, A great reference.....my "old" friend. Unfortunately, I will guess 92.6% of the young lads here have not seen this movie or have probably heard of it. :? It was good to see you out there playing the other day....I had not come across your tracks in a long time. These days, the ...

Another side to this??
Hehe, Wow, you 2 have the same opinion on this? Pretty funny! Free, i'm guessing that your understanding of why this is occuring might not be clear because MAYBE some things went on before you joined the HOW team. Actually, I think I even talked to you personally about what went on with our (Vbz) ma...

Thanks Blast. Its funny just this morning there was a new map on there. Some one put the flag in another spot that couldnt be retrieved, it was tiny opening on the border, we were trying to get the team to all log out, then the server crashed. Seemed kinda suspicious, didnt know if some one some how...

Thx Grumbler for offering the same set up. I guess part of the appeal was that his server handled 20 players pretty well. There is some lag but mostly just laggy players. There def. needs to be a lag kick, there is almost always a player on there with lag over 1 sec.!! DS: Yeah I was on there once w...

Rufus Server admin/owner?
Hey all, I'm addicted to the rufus.homeunix.org server, .....there ...I said it!!! Does anyone know who's server it is? Like all servers without admins around...there are many teammate killers....some lame guys spamming....and all sorts of nonense. Tonight, people were putting the flag in the crack ...

Bullet Color
Hey Pat, New graphics look great, the grass, buildings, walls etc.!!! Great Job!! Now I just need to get use to so many different versions in such a short time. You know how the elderly are.....they don't adapt well to change. I have just one thought on the bullet color though. The bullets ar...

Suicide no big deal
Like I said before, I never really thought to try this as a tactic , and I am using that word extremely loosely. Spiff, I read your post! Here we go: Let me first start this with: :D  8) :lol-old: :o . Keep those in mind ok!? I can't count how many times I've been playing against someone and t...

Great Points KR
All good points KR!! As for the logging back in to gain an advantage...I'm with DMP. If I see someone do it I will first check their lag, make sure it wasnt a lag kick, and then give them a warning. Then next time they get kicked. As for the outnumbered flag capturing, it shouldnt take too much figu...
