*comes out from lurking* Congrats on getting the server back up and running. It was one of my favs and thought it was there for good... but then one day, poof! I remember the thread when it went down and I tried to host it (unsuccessfully for lack of bandwidth) for a little while. Laser sniping from...

You must delete your config file... In windows the path is usually like this: C:\Documents and Settings\Kyle\My Documents\My BZFlag Files\2.0\config.cfg That worked! What did it reset that caused the chage? @meteorite: no, it happened all the time. OT-you mentioned reinstating my cop status - it wo...

Shots starting from left rather than in middle
Hello,
Recently my shots have been starting from the left of my tank and continuing in a diagonal to the right, rendering my mouse box useless. This is most noticeable with L, and it happens on all servers. Any idea what might be causing this?

I remember an old Hepcat map I used to love. It was around 1.8. Red vs. Green CTF, jumping, and superflags. I don't know exactly what it was called, but it was loads of fun. I'd like to see it up again on someone else's server since hepcat is...over. I also really like Pillbox. Overlord was okay. I...

That's from BzEdit. It denotes the drivethrough/shootthrough properties. So a pyramid that you can drive through bu not shoot through will have a different texture from the ones that you can drive through AND shoot through, and regular pyramids will have the normal texture. So they all appear in-gam...

Epsilon CTF
Here's a CTF map that's basically the results of my efforts to learn BzEdit. For 4 teams; practically symmetrical. I tried to give the player multiple options on paths to take while capturing a flag. I haven't tested any particular configs with this yet. It's my first map, so there are no 2.0 featur...

That would solve one of the problems associated with camping: sitting on someone's base and then running off with their flag before anyone respawns on a flag capture. What it wouldnt solve is base campers just looking for kills with SW, SR, GM, or on a server with alot of shots. One of the controver...

Plumber's CTF
Here is a map that I have been working on lately. There are four teams, and four general paths to follow while capturing the flag. Suggestions/comments would be welcome. Any suggestions on what I might put on the ground to make things more interesting? It's my first map, so there's no 2.0.0 yet. Fee...

Help with teleporters
Here's a map (my first) that I'm in the process of making. The problem is that you can't drive through the center (x=0, y=0, z=0) teleporter. You just stop. It's linked to the teleporter on the high platform immediately above it. The platform is z=100, and the teleporter is z=101. I don't think chan...

Client-side chat filters
Would this be possible to implement? In the bzflag config file, add a line like "-badwords badwordsfile.txt", and it would filter the chat only for your copy of the game. Would it be difficult to take the filter code in bzfs and transfer it to the client? So, essentially, everyone can cust...

We should actually get some sounds that are encoded at a higher bitrate and/or sound a bit better first :p. Something that doesn't make players (a.k.a. me) play with the sound off 99.9 percent of the time :D. But yes, it would definitely be cool to hear explosions and shots coming from all around you.
